Emily Cronin L. Ac.

I am a board certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM and a licensed acupuncturist by the Louisiana State Medical Board.

I trained in London, England and was a member of the British Acupuncture Council prior to relocating to New Orleans, Louisiana.  I have trained in many different styles of Chinese medicine including: Traditional (TCM), Classical approaches, Dr. Tan's balance method, Kiiko Matsumoto and the Hara diagnosis, Five elements, Auricular acupuncture, Scalp acupuncture, Japanese meridian therapy and Jing Fang. I am passionate about life long learning and I enjoy selecting and blending different styles of acupuncture and Chinese medicine for each client and their concerns uniquely.

Chinese medicine emphasizes the role of lifestyle and moderation in the cultivation and preservation of mental and physical well-being. Discovering what physical and mental well-being mean to you is a balance that is personal to each individual. Rather than treating isolated symptoms, I work with my patients to restore balance to the system as a whole. I incorporate other modalities like cupping, moxibustion, dietary therapy and more in conjunction with acupuncture to provide my patients with dynamic treatments. I believe education is important in empowering my patients with tools they may bring home to live more in harmony with their bodies, mind and environments. I am honored to serve the New Orleans community and look forward to sharing my passion for Chinese medicine with you!

Taylor Hurley, L.Ac

I am a board certified acupuncturist by the NCCAOM and a licensed acupuncturist by the Louisiana State Medical Board. I completed my acupuncture training in Tucson, AZ and there I received my Masters of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine. I enjoy pulling from various theories of acupuncture in my treatments, namely Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), SAAM Korean acupuncture, Japanese Meridian theory, and Five Elements acupuncture. I have also studied with Mary Elizabeth Wakefield to incorporate constitutional facial acupuncture into my practice.  In addition to the single-use, sterile acupuncture needles used in treatments, I like to use cupping, gua sha, tuina, and herbal or dietary recommendations to further support the goals of the treatment.

I enjoy different settings of practice and feel passionate about making Chinese Medicine widely available. I also practice at the People’s Community Acupuncture Collective NOLA, and have recently developed a free auricular clinic at the downtown De Paul Community Health Center.

My goal is to restore balance and remedy any discomfort, whether it be physical or emotional. As an acupuncturist, I hope to empower and educate my patients in order to help them be the most radiant versions of themselves.
